The performance raises the issue of helplessness as a concept of alienation, through the attempts of the two main characters, the psychiatrist and his patient, to resolve their internal conflict and free themselves from the fear of separation that requires confronting their overwhelming sense of helplessness. This internal conflict has two levelsو,the first is the conflict between each character’s present, past, and future, and the second is between each character’s five emotions (fear, sadness, disgust, anger, and pleasure).

يطرح العرض قضية العجز كمفهوم من مفاهيم الاغتراب، و ذلك من خلال محاولات الشخصيتين الرئيسيتين، الطبيب النفسي ومريضته ، لحل نزاعهما الداخلي وتحرير نفسيهما من الخوف من الفقدان الذي يتطلب مواجهة شعورهما العارم بالعجز. لهذا الصراع الداخلي مستويان: الأول هو الصراع بين حاضر كل شخصية وماضيها ومستقبلها ، والثاني بين كل شخصية وعواطفها الخمس (الخوف،والحزن، والاشمئزاز ،والغضب، و المتعة)
